Unity Retail raises 6-figure USD seed investment

Unity Retail has received a 6-figure USD seed investment led by Boston Equity partners. For marketing and product creation, the investment would be used. Unity Retail provides an end-to-end solution for e-commerce sites to process orders automatically, removing the need for manual verification. To make your life simpler, it also interacts directly with couriers.

“Unity Retail is uniquely positioned to enable e-commerce,” said Arif Baig Mohammed, co-founder of Boston Equity Partners. Although the demand for the service is relevant at the enterprise level, the real scale is where the platform makes it easy for SMEs and home-based entrepreneurs to use a plug and play solution to exploit the e-commerce opportunity.

Founded in 2017 by Atif Sami and Shoaib Ahsan, incubated in batch 5 at The Nest I/O, as a startup offering marketplace integrations such as Technifai, the founders saw an opportunity to connect e-commerce platforms directly to courier services in 2019 to streamline order processing and delivery and relaunch the business.

Since then, orders worth $90 million have been processed by the firm. With the pandemic providing a major boost to Pakistan and the world’s e-commerce industry, the start-up is in a unique position to provide e-commerce platforms with end services that allow them to provide better services at a lower cost. The organization already has about 200 customers who profit from their services.

The start-up looks to grow further in Pakistan as well as in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region following the success in Pakistan.
