FCCI forms committees to help solve business community problems

To address the sector-specific problems of the business community, constructive and dynamic standing committees are a prerequisite.

This is why the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry has organized a leadership, quality management and capacity building workshop for the chairpersons of more than one hundred standing committees (FCCI).

FCCI President Engineer Hafiz Ihtasham Javed said this while addressing a workshop on Tuesday here. He claimed that due representation was provided to each sector on the FCCI platform and that businessmen relevant to the sector concerned were included in it.

They are also well aware of the dynamics of the different circumstances and are able to recognise key problems in addition to providing their feasible and tangible solutions,” he said, adding that the overall functioning of the FCCI depends on certain committees that are responsible for advising the FCCI office-bearers to formulate future policies and provide central, regional and provincial feedback.

The former president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), Mian Muhammad Idrees, congratulated the president and chairman of the FCCI Standing Committee on Training and Growth on the organization of the fruitful session.

In an interactive mode, former guest trainer Khurrum Shahzad from Lahore gave a thought provoking lecture.
