Spotify to launch its services in Pakistan soon

In a recent tweet, Spotify revealed it will launch its services in Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and more than 80 new markets in the next few days.

The music streaming giant was founded in 2006 and is already popular for its services in Pakistan and the global music industry. While Spotify has previously confined its services to specific regions of the world, it is now preparing to extend its network.

Besides this, the company has also launched an additional feature known as Spotify HiFi, which aims at offering its users CD-quality lossless audio. Services such as Spotify Premium will also pay for the feature.

Spotify also announced that its global listening hours have risen during the pandemic, facing competition from YouTube Music, Deezer and Apple Music, with premium subscribers increasing by 27 percent to 144 million in the third quarter of 2020.
