On Tuesday, a parliamentary panel praised the Higher Education Commission (HEConline )’s degree qualification system and recommended that the system be further strengthened.
On Tuesday, the 1st meeting of the sub-committee of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Federal Education, Skilled Training, National Heritage and Culture was held here to discuss the following agenda as set out in its ToRs: Analysis of the operation and efficiency of federal universities with regard to: I the online system of degree certification; (ii) the process for allocating funds to universities over the past five years.
Muhammad Hamid Hameed chaired the conference. In order to review university matters, a two-member committee comprising Sadaqat Ali Khan and Andleeb Abbas was formed. The committee will also consult with university vice-chancellors. The committee was given a briefing on the degree qualification system online.
