Telenor Pakistan’s Digital Accelerator Program, is now accepting applications from start-ups for its 7th Cohort. Telenor Velocity will direct, support, and mentor start-ups over the course of four months, leveraging Telenor Pakistan’s experts, analytics, and access to scaling opportunities.

The world is changing dramatically, and Telenor Pakistan is on the lookout for entrepreneurs who are willing to embrace the constraints and use technology to solve problems. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Blockchain, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and the Internet of Things (IOT) start-ups will particularly profit from this opportunity, as this cohort brings with it the experts and resources needed to create impactful, modern solutions. Telenor Pakistan’s digital assets are used to pick start-ups that have been in the market for more than two years and give them scaling opportunities.

“Entrepreneurs are important to the growth and development of Pakistan’s economy, and they are the secret to bringing creative ideas into the market,” Khurrum Ashfaque, Chief Operating Officer Telenor Pakistan, said at the event. Telenor Velocity aims to cultivate and mentor start-ups that use technology as an enabler across various verticals, a domain in which Telenor Pakistan excels. We are in the midst of the start-up phase, with digitalization rising by the day. These tech-based new businesses need a forum to launch their projects, which will not only provide solutions for society but also place Pakistan on the map for technological innovation.
