NCA Signs Agreement with NITB to Introduce E-Office

The National Information Technology Board (NITB) and the National College of Arts have agreed to implement the E-office suite at NCA Lahore and NCA Islamabad.

The E-office app was developed by the National Institute of Technology to assist government agencies in going paperless by introducing electronic administration and to ensure effectiveness and transparency in various government functional areas. The app is intended to be a digital replacement for inefficient file and document management methods currently in use.

The government decided to enable the E-system across all 31 government ministries in order to digitise governance processes across all government departments, a process that is still ongoing.

Only the MoIT (Ministry of Information Technology), PSEB (Pakistan Software Export Board), the Board of Investment, and the NITB (National Information Technology Board) have achieved level 4, with no government agency having yet achieved level 6.
