For the first time in Pakistan, HBL has partnered with Hysab Kytab to launch the first comprehensive Personal Finance Manager (PFM) solution. The PFM (budgeting) tool from Hysab Kytab has been incorporated into HBL Mobile, allowing all app users to take control of their finances.

“Going live with HBL is a big milestone,” said Veqar Ul Islam, Founder of Hysab Kytab and Director of the Jaffer Group of Companies. Hysab Kytab is a Pakistani PFM, and I’m grateful to HBL for believing in it and choosing it for their own digital platform. This is the kind of assistance that our local banks can provide to assist Pakistan’s FinTech industry in growing and providing solutions for local needs.”

Commenting on this collaboration ‘’This collaboration with Hysab Kytab is a pivotal move in providing our mobile banking users with a holistic view of their finances, and will enable them to make sound financial decisions,” said Abrar Mir, Chief Digital, Innovation & Financial Inclusion Officer at HBL. HBL continues to provide cutting-edge banking technologies, and this PFM will serve as a key differentiator in internet and mobile banking.”

HBL mobile app users will be able to record and monitor expenditures, build budgets in different categories, schedule and track saving targets, and display all accounts in one location in the first step of the launch, among other features. Auto-categorization and data integration are part of the next step, which will improve the customer experience even more.
