BIMA Mobile Pakistan partners with Jazz for its best-in-class Cloud Solution

According to an agreement inked between BIMA Mobile Pakistan CEO Murtaza Khalil Hassan and Jazz Chief Business Officer Syed Ali Naseer, BIMA Mobile, Pakistan’s top provider of digital health and insur-tech services, would leverage Jazz’s cloud capabilities.

The adoption of cloud-based services and solutions is redefining how businesses operate. Jazz launched its cloud solution in 4Q20 to assist enterprises such as BIMA in establishing more robust and reliable infrastructures for the deployment of their products in a more secure environment.

“Like all other businesses in Pakistan, BIMA’s activities were impacted by the pandemic. We were forced to switch overnight to a different work-from-home model for our more than 1000 employees, which created connectivity challenges and made it impossible for our team to communicate with our clients. Our existing call centre programme was not yet ready for remote access. As a result, Jazz Cloud enables us to function remotely in a safe environment. This, together with Jazz’s MIFI devices, has enabled us to maintain connectivity in this work model,” Murtaza Khalil Hassan, CEO BIMA Mobile Pakistan, explained.

“BIMA’s business of selling insurance at the micro level, combined with Jazz’s technological prowess – including cloud, SIP connectivity, and virtualization – will significantly contribute to elevating the local insurance industry and improving backend processes,” said Syed Ali Naseer, Jazz’s Chief Business Officer.

Apart from enhancing security and data protection, Jazz’s cloud solution minimises the administrative burden associated with maintaining physical hardware in a data centre.

This investment would help BIMA Mobile Pakistan continue to grow and expand its services to Jazz customers in Pakistan in the future.
