General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), on Wednesday lauded the business community’s contribution to Pakistan’s economic development and reaffirmed the army’s unwavering support, according to an official statement released by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Members of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) paid a visit to the army chief today, according to the military’s media wing.

The summit also examined FPCCI’s role in the development of commercial and industrial centres in Pakistan, as well as the shifting regional economic climate.
