REDRETAIL (a joint venture between REDtone Group and iDMission LLC) and 1LINK recently announced the signing of an agreement to facilitate bill payments throughout Pakistan’s retail shops.
REDRETAIL will assume the position of bill originator under the terms of the agreement, utilizing 1LINK’s Bill Payment Service (BPS), which hosts over 1,000 billers and enables businesses to collect fixed/invoice-based and variable/top-up payments.
Pakistan is accelerating its financial inclusion growth as a result of the country’s economic policies. Consumers will be able to pay their bills through retail/kirana outlets for all billers on the 1LINK Bill Payment platform, including utility bills, education fees, and government-related payments.
This provides consumers with convenience and accessibility by expanding their options for paying their bills at their convenience.
