Graana.com and UBL sign MoU

Graana.com and United Bank Limited (UBL) have agreed to collaborate on facilitating UBL Housing Finance to Graana’s direct and indirect customers.

Shafiq Akbar, CEO of Graana.com, and Zia Ejaz, Group Executive of UBL (Branch Banking), signed the document.

The signing ceremony took place at UBL’s head office in Karachi on Tuesday, 15 June 2021, in the presence of Group Director Graana.com, Farhan Javed, Director Agency21 International, Sharjeel A. Ehmer, Director Propsure, Taimoor-ul-Haq Abbasi, Regional Sales Manager South, Usama Khan, Head of Consumer Banking, Mr. Muhammad Anas, Head of Consumer Loans, Muhammad Waqas Rana, Head of Mortgages,

While expressing gratitude on the occasion, Shafiq Akbar, CEO of Graana.com, stated that housing is a fundamental need for every citizen and we believe that the mutual understanding between UBL and Graana.com will open new avenues for house financing to benefit our citizens.

The agreement enables UBL and Graana.com to facilitate easy access to UBL Housing Finance for customers, premium partners, and businesses referred through partner aggregators/realtors, with Graana assisting UBL in identifying and mapping potential customers shortlisted for government’s mark-up subvention.
