PakVac Covid Vaccine

According to recent press reports, the government authorities have chosen to initiate mass manufacture of the Pakistan-made COVID-19 vaccine known as ‘PakVac,’ and preparations are already underway.

Due to the high demand, the National Institute of Health Islamabad would create three million doses of the vaccine monthly. “Monthly production of three million vaccine doses will ensure sufficient availability of corona vaccine jabs, significantly reducing the country’s reliance on other countries,” according to sources. Cansino Biologics of China will supply the vaccine’s basic material.”

According to these sources, the government has agreed to purchase 20 million prepared dosages and the corresponding raw material from Cansio Bio. The raw material, on the other hand, will be sourced from China. Previously, the government acquired more than 27.5 million doses of vaccine from China’s Sinopharm, Sinovac, and Can Sino.
