JS Bank, one of Pakistan’s leading banks, and Euronet Pakistan, a division of Euronet Worldwide (NASDAQ: EEFT) and a market leader in the secure electronic financial transaction processing industry, recently announced the signing of an agreement to manage JS Bank’s growing credit card programme through a fully outsourced and managed services model.

Atif Salim Malik, Group Head Retail Banking, JS Bank, and Kashif Gaya, CEO, Euronet Pakistan, inked the agreement during a ceremony at JS Bank’s head office in Karachi.

Euronet will supply JS Bank with an end-to-end credit card management system, including card payment scheme gateways, housed on Euronet’s PCI-compliant infrastructure in its Pakistani data centre facilities.

Additionally, this relationship will provide JS Bank with assured service levels and processing uptimes, allowing for greater scalability, faster implementation of business initiatives, and a reduction in operational costs.

“We are pleased to partner with Euronet and leverage their unmatched expertise in portfolio migrations and expertise in driving large credit card programmes as a card processor,” said Atif Salim Malik, Group Head, Retail Banking.

“This partnership with an industry leader demonstrates our intention and determination to scale and offer highly innovative credit card products that deliver exceptional value to customers and a superior cardholder experience,” he added.

“We are pleased to have entered a long-term valuable partnership with JS Bank and to have been selected as the technology partner to operate their credit card programme,” said Kashif Gaya, CEO Euronet Pakistan.

“This agreement perfectly matches our dedication to product innovation and to providing Pakistan with robust and scalable credit card processing. We look forward to working with JS Bank and would want to express our appreciation for their confidence in our local market experience and technological platform,” he added.
