Foreign investment is the major means by which developing nations, such as Pakistan, can get access to innovative technologies and expanded market opportunities, resulting in a rise in human capital. Supported by predictable, consistent, and transparent policy frameworks, these elements are crucial to Pakistan’s ability to reach a better economic trajectory. There are numerous instances in the region of economies with comparable obstacles achieving significant economic growth primarily through the promotion of FDI. For robust, sustainable socioeconomic growth, technological innovation is essential.

In July of 1996, Amir Paracha began his work at the Royal Dutch Shell Oil Corporation. In 2000, he joined Unilever Pakistan, where he currently oversees numerous categories in Pakistan and the GCC cluster. Before becoming Chairman and CEO in 2020, he oversaw the Home and Personal Care Division as well as Consumer Development. MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Amir serves on the Boards of Endeavor Pakistan, Karachi Vocational Training Centre, and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI).
